摘要
Nanopore sequencing based on "electrophoresis" phenomenon has become the mainstream of the new generation of DNA sequencing technology. In nanopore sequencing, biological nanopore and solid state nanopore sequencing techniques have their own advantages and disadvantages. Despite the maturity of biological nanopore technology, it is characterized by insufficient stability of protein components, high transportation and storage costs, and limited use times. Especially, the sheer volume and high throughput of DNA sequencing data leads to high time costs for subsequent data processing, as well as difficulties in translating to daily applications. Nevertheless, Solid-state nanopores have significant advantages in cost, stability, and scalability. In this paper, we design and implement a novel portable DNA sequencing device based on solid-state nanopore sequencing technology. Portable biological samples can be tested through pores by a sequencing chip with a nanopore channel. By amplifying, filtering, and compressing the electrical signals generated by the chip, the terminal produces DNA sequence data files in the FASTQ format and transfers them to the cloud platform via wireless communication units, through which we are able to explore practical applications in interdisciplinary fields of biological science, circuits, hardware development, and others.
